Snowblowers

The only equipment from the VICTUS EMAK range operated exclusively during the winter season are snowblowers.

These are two-stage machines, designed to deal with the effects of heavy precipitation, snowstorms or snowstorms. This means that the motor drives two rotors through a belt transmission. The scraper (auger) rotor moves the snow stream to the center of the channel, where the rejecting rotor rotates at high speed. The leading edges of the auger are equipped with teeth to crush compacted and frozen snow layer. The diameter of this rotor and the size of the chamber allow the removal of a layer of snow up to 55 cm high.

Most of us associate autumn with the beautiful colors that nature offers. However, for quite a few green space professionals, this period is a nightmare of mountains of leaves and dead plants that need to be moved to storage and composting areas. And although the blowers in question here are operated year-round, the sound of their operation is most often associated precisely with autumn.

Autumn and winter is seemingly a period when little work is usually done outside, in gardens and around properties. However, these are the days of intensive work associated with the removal of the remains of dead plants, especially leaves and hedge cutting residues. In winter, quick removal of snow from sidewalks and driveways is important for the safety of users. This avoids the situation when the compacted snow layer freezes to the ground, requiring additional work to remove it. And although the devices mentioned in this article are also used in other seasons, their most intensive use is in autumn and winter.
