Snowblowers

The only equipment from the VICTUS EMAK range operated exclusively during the winter season are snowblowers.

These are two-stage machines, designed to deal with the effects of heavy precipitation, snowstorms or snowstorms. This means that the motor drives two rotors through a belt transmission. The scraper (auger) rotor moves the snow stream to the center of the channel, where the rejecting rotor rotates at high speed. The leading edges of the auger are equipped with teeth to crush compacted and frozen snow layer. The diameter of this rotor and the size of the chamber allow the removal of a layer of snow up to 55 cm high.

The working width of the available models of snowblowers from 56 to 70 cm allows you to choose the right version to meet the needs of each user.

The front part of the snowblower body is supported by adjustable skids, allowing the height to be adjusted to suit the type of terrain. Whether the machine is moving on a surface covered with asphalt, paving stones or unpaved, the operator has the ability to work efficiently and effectively remove a layer of snow.

The design of the ejection channel allows the ejection of snow over a considerable distance - from 12 to as much as 16 meters - depending on the density of the snow and the angle setting of the upper part of the ejection channel, the position adjustment of which on the 62 ELD model and both OM-Line models is smoothly controlled from the operator's seat.

Starting the engine in winter conditions, especially at low ambient temperatures, is very difficult. Therefore, all snowblowers have been equipped with so-called winter engines, characterized by special guards that allow the engine to reach operating temperature very quickly after startup. In addition, the special geometry of the intake manifold prevents ice buildup in the intake manifold, which could lead to a reduction in the airflow delivered to the cylinder, and thus to the engine operating with an overly rich fuel-air mixture. At this point, users should be reminded that engines operating in the winter must be lubricated only with multigrade oil with a viscosity of SAE 10W 30.

Electric starters are standard equipment on all models (except ARTIK 56). Any machine moving on terrain with limited traction requires a transmission system that guarantees maximum traction. Oleo-Mac snowblowers are equipped with a friction transmission with five forward gears and two reverse gears. OM-Line models have an additional forward gear ratio. In addition, the ASN 66G (OM-Line) snowblower model is equipped with tracks that guarantee trouble-free operation in all conditions.

The special working conditions of snowblowers require the operator to follow a number of safety rules. The direction of snow ejection can be changed smoothly from the operator's seat, but great care must be taken not to direct it towards people within range of the ejected stream. This includes tangible property - cars, buildings, windows, etc., which could be damaged if hard objects - such as lumps of ice - are ejected by the rotor.

A characteristic feature of snowblowers is the relatively short period of operation during the year. Therefore, it is worth remembering that after finishing work, the entire machine should be carefully cleaned of snow residues, dried and protected parts exposed to corrosion with an anti-corrosion agent. Under current climatic conditions, it is uncertain when the machine will once again be put into operation. To keep the engine fully operational before leaving the snowblower for more than a month, drain the engine power system. This is especially important when using E10 gasoline, which is hygroscopic. Gasoline containing water particles will corrode the internal components of the carburetor, making it difficult or even impossible to start the engine after the storage period.
