Excavator designed for narrow excavation, which can be used for water, gas, electricity installation as long as technical requirements allow it. The width of the trench after digging with a self-propelled chain excavator is about 12cm, and its depth is a maximum of 70cm. The use of an excavator saves time in getting the job done and eliminates the need to engage heavy construction equipment, while its small size allows for relatively easy transportation and easy maneuverability in places where larger machines cannot enter. The chain excavator has a wheel drive, making it less strenuous to excavate a trench compared to non-wheel drive equipment and, of course, to work manually. When working by hand, in addition, a non-uniform and uneven excavation is often created, which cannot be said about the results of working with a chain excavator.

The drive unit is a large capacity diesel engine with the ability to start both with a hand jerk and an electric starter. The chain guide is lowered and raised by an electric actuator. It gives us smooth, multi-step and easy adjustment of the working depth with a single switch.

Drive to the wheels is transmitted via a slow-speed, high-torque gearbox. Speed can be adjusted using levers located in an easily accessible place. Changing the speed of travel gives us the ability to choose the right pace is the requirements of the terrain. In both forward and reverse we have two gear ratios available, due to the design during operation we use reverse gears. For ease of use, the drive box has been equipped with the ability to disengage the drive from one wheel, making it easier to maneuver and correct digging during operation. This is done by pressing the right or left handle, which are located at the handle.
