WARRANTY PERIOD
The warranty period for a product purchased for consumer use is 2 years from the date of acquisition/issue.
Equipment purchased and used for business or professional purposes (commercial purchase) is provided with a annual guarantee.
Consumer purchase within the meaning of the Act of 27 July 2002. (Official Gazette 02.141.1176) is a purchase made by an individual who buys the product for purposes unrelated to professional or business activity. A purchase made by a business entity or a sole proprietor is considered a commercial purchase.
EXTENDED WARRANTY XXL
The manufacturer provides an additional, 12-month warranty for a product purchased for consumer use after the expiration of the basic warranty period. Additional warranty is provided when the following requirements are met:
- The user's registration of purchased goods on the website: www.daewoo-power.com no later than 30 days from the date of purchase. Confirmation of successful registration is the response sent to the email address provided during registration.
- Entries in the warranty card about routine service and maintenance performed at an authorized service center. The maintenance schedule and list of maintenance work can be found in the instruction manual for each product, as well as on the website www.daewoo-power.com
- Adherence by the user to all requirements and recommendations for the operation of the product found in the instruction manual.
If any of the above requirements are not met, it is considered that the additional product warranty is not available to the user. The additional warranty does not cover wear and tear of parts, accessories and consumables, as well as defects and cases that are not covered by the basic warranty period.
WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The warranty includes free removal of damages resulting from manufacturing or material defects, caused by the fault of the manufacturer. The manufacturing defect is determined by the expert committee of the authorized service center.
If the defect was not reported immediately after its discovery, and the user continued to operate the defective equipment, the seller, distributor or authorized organization shall have the right to fully or partially refuse to settle the claims presented.
We draw your attention to the fact that most products require proper maintenance and routine service. Refer to the operating instructions for each product for a schedule of operation and maintenance activities. The given activities should be carried out only at authorized service centers, which should be confirmed by an appropriate entry in the warranty card. If the maintenance work is not carried out on time and this causes any irregularities (defects) in the components or assemblies of the product, the buyer completely forfeits the right to warranty.
The warranty does not cover activities such as installation, maintenance, periodic maintenance, configuration, cleaning and inspections. The services in question are not a warranty obligation of the manufacturer (seller) and are carried out at the user's expense at the rates of the authorized repair service.
The warranty procedure starts when the equipment is delivered to the authorized repair service. The repair contractor shall respond to warranty claims within 14 working days from the date of receipt of the equipment. The repair will be carried out as soon as possible.
The basis for recognition of a claim under the warranty is a properly completed warranty card with the seal of the seller and the signature of the buyer.
For a product to be accepted for repair, it must be clean and complete. The service center may refuse to accept dirty equipment for repair or clean it at the complainant's expense.
Warranty rights do not include the buyer's right to claim reimbursement for lost profits and costs incurred due to the time taken to repair the equipment.
The choice of how to remove the defect is up to the guarantor, who may repair or replace the defective part, or replace the goods with new ones. Regardless of how the defect is corrected, the warranty continues, extended by the time the defect is corrected by the guarantor.
The warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend the buyer's rights under the warranty provisions for defects of the sold thing.
WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
- Mechanical damage (cracks, splintering), damage caused by adverse conditions of the workplace, the presence of foreign bodies in the product or in the ventilation grilles, as well as damage caused by improper storage (corrosion of metal parts);
- Malfunctions caused by clogging of the fuel system or cooling system;
- Damage resulting from overloading the product, improper operation or incompatible use of the product, as well as instability of the electrical network parameters. Unmistakable signs of product overloading are melting or discoloration of parts due to high temperature, simultaneous failure of two or more assemblies, scratches on the surface of the cylinder or piston, destruction of piston rings or connecting rod shells. The warranty also does not cover damage to the automatic voltage stabilizer of electric generators caused by improper use;
- Damage to consumable components subject to natural wear and tear during operation and subject to condition monitoring by the user (carbon brushes, cables, rubber seals, chokes, shock absorbers, clutch springs, spark plugs, mufflers, nozzles, discs, pulleys, guide rollers, cables, hand starters, terminal chucks, bushings, V-belts, light bulbs, batteries, filter and protection elements, lubricants, replacement accessories, accessories, running wheels, knives, drills, knife holders, vee heads, cutting chains, guides, control cables, keyways and overload pins, etc.), as well as damage to safety components (fuses, breakaway bolts, brass gears, coil springs, shock shafts, etc.).);
- Product maintenance and servicing (cleaning, washing, lubrication, etc.).), product assembly and configuration.
- Mechanical and thermal damage to electrical cables;
- Product malfunctions if the following are found: making structural changes, attempting repairs and adjustments not provided for in the user's manual, failing to perform operation and maintenance inspections, which the user is obliged to do in accordance with the requirements of the user's manual, using unsuitable spare parts and consumables;
- Defects caused by the use of a product showing signs of damage (increased noise or vibration, decrease in power, reduced speed, burning smell);
- Any damage caused by excessive use of equipment equipped with hour meters (more than 150 hours per month);
- Defects caused by natural wear and tear of the product or wear and tear of friction parts;
- Damage caused by acts of God beyond the guarantor's control;
- Buyer's rights to claim reimbursement of lost benefits and incurred costs due to defects in the item;
- Any damage caused to objects or persons.
