Polypropylene pipe welding - three ways

Place both items on the heater and wait for the right temperature to be reached. In the next step, simultaneously warm up (plasticize) the pipes in the socket and the inside of the fittings (such as elbows) using a mandrel. The two pieces should be joined before the plastic hardens again. Testimony that the welding of polypropylene pipes has proceeded correctly is the even bulge around the perimeter of the fitting.

Another way of joining is butt welding of PP pipes. Technology works especially well for merging large-diameter pipes. Requires a set of specialized tools. It includes a milling machine (for aligning the edges of the pipes to be joined), a heating plate and a special carriage that allows precise approximation of the elements to be joined.

Electrofusion bonding is also a very effective method. Special pipe welders and electrofusion fittings (electrofusion fittings) are used for this purpose. Plastic plasticization is possible due to heating of electrofusion wire embedded in the connector. The process is under full control of an electronic controller. The result is a very strong connection, resistant to unsealing and environmental influences.
