AriensCo was founded in 1933 when Henry Ariens and his three sons, Steve, Leon and Francis, developed the first American rotary tiller at a time when other manufacturers were experimenting with imported tills. It took years of experience, education and perseverance before rotary cultivation was accepted as a proven agricultural tool. The Ariens family ran educational programmes to teach commercial growers, nurserymen and gardeners how the new Ariens Model A Tiller, powered by an air-cooled engine, 'ploughs as it discs as it harrows'.

ARIENS is the undisputed leader in the horticultural industry. Started in 1933 in Wisconsin U.S.A., the family-owned ARIENS began with a modest staff of four. Today, the manufacturer employs more than 1,500 people in the United States, the United Kingdom and Norway. ARIENS' range of machinery includes garden tractors, push and zero turn mowers, snowblowers and sweepers. Ariens products are developed to exacting quality and safety standards and continually enjoy high reliability and worldwide recognition among amateurs and professionals.

A number of commercial tiller models have been developed, all aimed at improving productivity for vegetable growers across the country. AriensCo has introduced the more compact Model B soil tiller, the Roller-Tiller, the Multi-Tiller Tractor Tiller, the Jitterbug single row front soil tiller and the Tillivator RC for celery growers in Florida.

ARIENS is a brand that was founded in 1933 and launched its first mower in 1958. 2 years later, it launched its first snowblower - its best-known product, the Ariens Sno-Thro, a self-propelled snowblower. In 2003, a full line of zero-turn radius mowers and riders with hydrostatic drive was introduced. Today, Ariens boasts high-quality garden tractors for a variety of tasks in the A, B and C series. Ariens lawn tractors are distinguished by their extensive equipment and robust construction. The range includes tractors with a belt-driven rear PTO and a differential lock. Selected machines have 4-wheel drive (4TRAC), a special HGM (High Grass Mulch) mowing system and an XRD system. The garden tractors are powered by Kawasaki engines and equipped with a hydrostatic transmission. When choosing Ariens equipment there is a choice of petrol or diesel engines. Ariens tractors can be operated with a snow plough, an active seeder / scarifier and a basket with a special grass cutter sweeper.

Ariens is a leading manufacturer of lawn mowers, garden tractors and seeders and snow ploughs. The company produced machines not only under its own brand, but also under the Scotts and Husquvarna brands. Ariens operates a subsidiary, Stens Corporation, which produces a full line of small engine parts and other spare parts

AriensCo was founded in 1933 by Brillion, Wisconsin resident Henry Ariens. Since then, the company has been passed down from son to son for four generations. For almost 90 years, our company's postcode and the names of our presidents have remained the same. This is our commitment to local, family-owned manufacturing and we have no plans to change.
